ATT refuses to make deal with CBS

What makes you think they will work with the CWA? Just saying.

Um, wasn't the acquisition of Warner supposed to solve all those unprofitable carriage problems for Directv? Yes thats right, it always looks best on Powerpoint and Excel. The reality? Those slides , cells, and bullet points always get deleted to fit the desired narrative, cover, and product pitch. Sadly, the payback for such lack of focus on core competencies (wireless innovator) is that the other competitors in your space open your front door, walk in, sit at your kitchen table, and eat your lunch, all while your off to Hollywood to watch some movies.

The box is already engineered to support an antenna. Just need the antenna and the adapter box. Been around for a dozen years.

Wouldn't reengineering the boxesto take OTA require an antenna? Not everyone lives close enough to pick up OTA with one of those cheap indoor antennas.

Pft, T is way ahead of these content providers... we have the trifecta to meet financial promises of layoffs, outsourcing AND price increases. No way we have churn problems in the near future.

Right now it looks like price increases are the business plans for content providers to meet their financial promises to the Street.

Haha I see they actually turned it off. They better make a deal before the next episode of Big Brother comes on.

CBS, NBC, Fox, etc.. are devoid of anything substantial and are nothing more than propaganda outlets for the Gov’t They could disappear tomorrow and wouldn’t even notice

CBS wants a price increase in the face of declining viewership. The price needs to go down. Meanwhile, AT&T should re-engineer their DirectTV and Uverse receivers to seamlessly pull in over-the-air stations along with the feed from the pay TV. For many of these audiences, the station is available over-the-air.
