If a person is "invited" to join IBM, would all rights to your AT&T pension go away? Wondering how all of that would work.

Why can't they off shore movie productions? Helloooooo, Have you not heard of "Bollywood" which makes some pretty good productions?
Hmmmmmm........can't off-shore movie productions.......can't off shore maintain the cellular or ground faculties...but everything else ....including the CEO can be off shored for quite a savings
If you are vested with your AT&T pension, then you retain the pension benefit that you have already earned, when you leave AT&T. Fidelity manages the pensions for AT&T; call them to find out what you can do with your pension, when you leave AT&T.
Don't expect to spend a lot of time with IBM - they have a board here, ask them directly - you'll notice that with every account acquisition they have a plan on how to offload expensive resources (and you will be expensive to them, trust me - you are competing against offshore labor on fake onshore visas - they are indentured servants as their visa locks them in for 4 years, no raises, no bonuses etc.)
