What is timing for outsourcing?

But what about all of the T folks that pivoted and got nanos over the last couple years?

If a person is "invited" to join IBM, would all rights to your AT&T pension go away? Wondering how all of that would work.

Whatever this announcement is, it affects 15k plus people., that’s about the total under the 2 groups.
In the very first (and biggest at the time) outsourcing to ibm at legacy t , I believe division mgr (now AVP) were included. Have never heard any higher than that since.
So first was Hulu and now orgs and projects are being sold/traded. They sure know how to make an employee feel special.
Question: for those who know, would they outsource a whole SVP and everyone under or just projects and responsibilities including the responsible employees?
Been in the works for some time. Hopefully it’s not one of those, Vague calls to announce a call. My family will likely be happy, I’ve been answering the ‘hows work’ question, with ‘I’m getting outsourced or laid off soon...’ every darn quarter for 15 years or so it seems to them. I tell them to stop asking, but it’s like watching a smooshed spider, is it still alive?
Rumors - It's gonna either IBM or accenture.
IBM is good for a year or two then bye bye as job will go overseas or eliminated....we have seen this for past few years if not longer...
It would be a miracle if anyone replies with a post containing legitimate information here. Best thing to do is pray. I'm sure tomorrow morning once everyone is online, some details may emerge.

IBM has layoffs every quarter and their severance is 30 days.
Any reason IBM is worse than AT&T? They have Redhat now. Seems like good news to me if true.
It's Tech Dev (Summers/Ostapower). Heard some groups are being moved out to vendors and/or other areas of the business. Not sure if this is true or how many impacted but such a late email for a call tomorrow.
