Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Resign and find work elsewhere

It's relatively simple you all. If you aren't happy here and don't like all these policies and rules... Resign and find work elsewhere. Why gripe. Just go find another job that isn't making these kind of rules. Stop the crying, get out of here. It's you people that make this place horrible. Just do what the company asks and everyone is happy. Be appreciative of the job you have now. I guarantee you one thing, the people surplused would love the chance to put out 3 cones and still have a job.

Who else agrees with @102mCNnu-gny?

The pay is good, overtime is over $57.00 an hour. Why leave unless you have enough money already.

Folks who just hired on here after flipping burgers may think this place is great but people who have been here long enough to know their tail from a hole in the ground know how things used to be and are struggling what they have become these days(from a company policy side). Technology will always change but treating your employees with respect and value seems to be going out the window. The constant barrage of never being good enough and whatever you did was wrong will wear down even the finest of employees. Folks are not asking to be caudled just treat folks like they matter and they will make a difference.

Do what I always do listen to what ever is the flavor of the month & just let it go in one ear & out the other & just do my job as I always have. They don’t listen to their employees, so I let their stupid ideas fail then they change to what I would have suggested Anyway.....

It's very simple if you've been working for the company for 5-10 years. Not so much when you're close to retirement ( 25+ years but not quite 30 ) and old enough where age discrimination is definitely a variable to take into consideration.

Hell no, why give them what they want. I am going to be here til they kick me out. Meanwhile, im working 3-4hrs inside the CZ and being paid 8.. that's the best deal. I am not complaining.

Per coach Vince Lombardi of the Green Bay Packers “Quitters are losers”. Get fired. Never quit. Take all you can before you leave. Quitters also can be denied unemployment.

"Just do what the company asks and everyone is happy."

You seem depressed. There is no leadership in these words, its submissive with lack of character. Might as well say "yes master"

Someone said: "Just do what the company asks and everyone is happy."

Translation: Be a good little corporate robot and do everything your insane "leadership" tells you to and then go peacefully when they are tired of you."

Hey, not a chance! Now run along little robot. Humans are talking here.
