So how many garages are planning to participate in the walk out next week to disrupt the company’s end of quarter onslaught of work?
Prem techs have nothing to lose now so we are on board here.

They won’t even miss you.
Hey guys a union member from another telco here just reading your board. Wouldn’t this be considered a wildcat and couldn’t people be terminated for it? Good luck on those of you going thru a contract. We start negotiating first of next year and I’m not looking forward to it. Rooting for you guys over here.
@4rej LOL. Good luck with that.
If thay try that just grieve it thay will have to take away any write up for a labor walk out
If it’s not some sort of union backed unfair labor practice strike it’s considered an unauthorized strike and you will be subject to your region’s attendance policy.
When is it? We haven’t heard anything. Can we be written up for attendance if it is a strike?
Wildcat strikes are not useful nor or they protected.
IF anyone think some walkout will impact the business, they must be smoking something. One day without humans is just a cost savings. The work will still be there when you come back.
I remember doing a 3 day blue flu in cwa 4322 district 4 a couple of times, the company said that it was considered a "concerted activity" and we were not paid, even though the union said we would be paid for calling in sick. I don't trust CWA, and never will. The company always knows what CWA is planning. In my opinion the two are in bed with each other.
Walk out and be fired. Kiss any severance package you may have good bye. Have fun with your temper tantrum.
I have a good idea. How about you just report to work and collect a paycheck. Does that sound fair??
@iimm
CWA doesn’t have our backs anyway! No jobs are being saved.
Not only should we walk out during att 2nd quarter push, but we should walk out on CWA too!
I like the calling in sick idea and management should join you. Not sure why you advertise any plan on here. Don’t give them notice of what may be planned. Just do it. Strength in numbers.
Can't make it. Already laid off and looking for one of those great jobs that don't exist.
.
Everyone wants D4 to help upcoming D3 contract. How much OT did D3 work in the last year and a half when D4 has been fighting? How many crews came and worked in D4 from D3 while D4 has been fighting? But now, if something works out we should wait and carry you guys right?
How about having everyone call in sick for a week so we can all get paid for it.
We won’t be walking out in my garage. The union doesn’t walk out when we are fighting for a contact. You think the CWA will have your back on this?? Yeah right
There’s not going to be a walk out, this is someone’s pipe dream
We ready in Charleston sc
Look the bottom line is that it has to be all or none. None of this one local here and one local there s**t.
I'm on vacation. Can we do it in 2 weeks? For just a day?
LETS DO IT!!!!!!!!!
Have not heard nthing about a walkout in Ohio
