@2ceq - take a deep breath and acquaint yourself with reality : oracle is an unmitigated disaster, the only reason is not totally obvious to you and everybody else is b/c of cloud fraud, massive - $72 Bn - share buybacks and some remaining support revenues from legacy products ad DB. It is dying, dying, dying! There is no growth here just decline masked by all financial manipulation

If company is doing great, then where is my salary raise? Bonus? Shares? For last 4 years...with 5 rating !!

My friends working in other cloud companies are getting bonus, shares, salary raise, travel, party outings and what not...

Did anyone get salary raise this year ??

Many of you need to learn reading comprehension skills. Re-read what I wrote:

"Yes, not amazing growth, but a far cry from the nonsense posted here about imminent doom."

I didn't say it was an amazing stock. Didn't say one couldn't do better elsewhere. HOWEVER, it is far from the sky is falling nonsense you guys post here daily.

Oracle is a dead company working very dilligently on finishing its grave - people who don’t see it because they are blinded by stock buybacks and dividends are dumber than a pair of shoe laces

Remove legacy maintenance income and stock buybacks propelled by low interest rates you have a company that's challenged in every aspect.

Now, the market likes legacy generated cash flows and buybacks are a financial mechanical vehicles that will linearly increase stock valuation for every penny used to buy back... So, we are doing fine but at some point the music will stop (e.g., buybacks will slow down or stop, legacy cash flows will flatten and start to decline). And here lies the paradox - the market is happy, the employee sees MH & Co. for what they are... And both are correct - the stock will go up and the employee will continue to warn that things cannot continue like this forever.

We'll face five very interesting years here at Oracle...

People have posted about good oracle stock dividend. These people also don't know what they're talking about. I'm getting a 12% dividend on some mortgage trusts. That's a GOOD dividend.

I pulled all money out of Oracle quite a while ago. If you are not bright enough to know what else is out there, then propped up stock looks good to you. Oracle s---s. I've made a ton on amazon in the last few years.

Oracle stock is the worst performing tech stock save for total loser IBM - the 3 stooges have NOT earned their keep - they’re being paid for complete and total failure. SHAME!

You would have done much, much, much better investing in a tech index of fund that holding oracle stock. Oracle stock is for loosers too dumb to know they can invest in an index or industry fund.

Of course any shareholder would be pleased with the stock’s performance that’s artificially inflated with enormous buybacks. Instead of doing actual investments to be a player in cloud and capturing market they juice the stock. Come in 3-4 years late, then do a do-over with OCI gen2, screams failure.

Let the stock price speak for itself. Up over 30% for the last two years.

Compare it to NASDAQ or CRM or broader S&P 500 over the past five years and weep.

LOL! Turd knows that oracle is royally f---ed, so he’s buying puff pieces about himself to position himself for a job somewhere else. LE you are so f---ed by your buddy Turd - he’s gonna leave you broke LE. Serves you right since you hired him dumbo

Wow, isn’t it embarrassing that the CEO of the company has to buy puff pieces about himself? If that doesn’t tell you how f---ed oracle is nothing will.

He's so visionary, my friends who came to Oracle from HP quit when they found out he was coming on board - said he would do to Oracle what he did to HP. They weren't wrong.

Yup. Let the stock price speak for itself. Up over 30% for the last two years.

Yes, not amazing growth, but a far cry from the nonsense posted here about imminent doom.

I'd trust that over any embittered and laid-off poster found here.

The market calibrates itself and is actual money on the line.

PUFF PIECE

BI & FORBES do these all the time. It’s sponsored article content dribble under the auspices of a news story. Reality is it’s just filler.

LoL. Look at all the losers stirred up into a frenzy!

MH is steering the company in the right direction. Oracle is gathering steam.

And I also find it funny most of you deride the article's accuracy/journalism; but then hinge on every negative thread/post here as gospel.

LE and MH are such F:ing egomaniacs and imbeciles, it’s actually funny to watch. As for saving oracle - why do they need to spend tens of billions on buying back stock if the cloud strategy is so great and the company doing so well. Ahhhh, because it a F:ing lie!

I actualy read the article and also listened to the entire podcast here is my 2 cents:

  • the journo is not a journo, just a paid mouthpiece that was fed questions by our comms

  • about 20 pct of MHs responses are factually inaccurate

  • about 30 pct of the responses are premade comms fairy tales

  • about 80 pct of his responses are fuzzy, open to interpretation, have multiple meanings and can mean whatever you want it to mean

  • 5 min into the podcast, you will want to puke (i am assuming you do not take lies lightly and cherish truth)

I completely agree with this article.

Here are some other articles that talk about special talents and high prowess of MH. I am proud to say that Oracle is in right hands. Oracle will soon reach climax of performance.

I remember reading an inspiring biography. In one scene LE and MH were walking in the hills and LE was telling MH a scheme to ruin, I mean run, HP. MH stopped him, put his hand on LE's shoulder and said "You're lucky i am your friend, LE. HP is going to fire my @$$ but I will come kiss yours."
