Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

The more layoffs, the more DTV subscribers will bleed

Think how many employees have DTV only because of the $10 a month deal. No sense in paying orders of magnitude more for the same sub-par content and stupid infomercials.

@1oau DirecTV started replacing my recordings with downloaded on demand versions that contained a ton of randomly inserted commercials.

Well, not completely random. The last couple minutes of every show would constantly I terrupt with commercials. For some reason those Xandr geniuses decided to do this by repeating the same 1-2 commercials every single time. Not worth the money.

Works great for me but I watch it on Apple TV. I’ve heard other platforms have issues.

I had zero issues with DTV for years. Since changing to wireless equipment I have had some type of issue every single day. I put up with it because of the $10 cost. Now waiting for my first full price (-20%) bill. Afraid I will need to find another service

I'm loving my DTV for $10/month with free HBO.

If you're watching commercials you're doing it wrong. DVR it and watch it later. Duh.

No kidding. I cancelled mine as soon as I could. The product is such a joke that it wasn't worth the $130.

Way too many commercials for every streaming show. And such a slow menu. Terrible product, really. Almost like it was run by people who didn't know the industry.
