Don’t get me wrong, I love my job, but I love my family more. With block scheduling they imposed on me a choice that is already made in my head. With the new schedule I absolutely can barely send any time with my family. So I’m looking for a new job and leaving as soon as I land one.I even think they have done this on purpose so more people would be left with no choice but to leave, which of course saves them a whole lot of money on severance payouts that they would have to pay if people were laid off.

Block scheduling is the best thing they're actually going to do for us. Past 3 companies I worked for have a set schedule. It was amazing. I could have a true work-life balance.
I dont buy the "I can't spend time with my family" BS because right now they're scheduling us all over the fckn place.
Nothing worse then working somewhere that wants to offer more set schedules and regular days off.
