Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Friendly advice

I feel bad for the associates and management that are feeling some kind of way about their work conditions and changes going on. I’ve been with the company for over 15 years and have worked at many clubs. Sams club has been good to me and has provided me the opportunity to live the life that I do. My bills get paid, I’m able to take a vacation wether or not I choose to go anywhere, I call out maybe once a year only if I’m sick and I’ve never taken advantage of what is given to me. WE choose our outcome and destiny. Don’t let negative people define you or push you down. Educate yourself, read it, learn it and own it. Know who you are and what your capable of doing.

There are a lot of intelligent people working amongst us as well as some not so friendly and negative folks and we can all learn from each other. As long as your showing up for work when your suppose to and doing what needs to be done, then you have absolutely nothing to worry about. In the unfortunate event that you must leave a department, keep your head up and embrace the change or find your own happiness somewhere else. Whatever happens, happens. Trust and believe.

My position no longer exists. But I know I am a valuable associate. I took a pay cut and I am dealing with it. I have been with this company for over 25 years and I am still grateful to have a job. I love any job I do and will continue to grow with the changes of our company.

I do not feel I am owed anything. And I earn what I get. Grass is not always greener on the other side. If your not happy then do what makes you happy.

Keep that attitude @Y5TEE4v-lzm!

Rise above the negativity and no matter what, there is life with Sam's & without.

Very well written I feel the same way this company has allowed me to support my family as a single mother. Without having to get on welfare we have lived a comfortable life.I've been with the company for 30 yrs it has not always been easy. I have lost my position three different times have been discouraged, bullied and felt belittled by different management but now allowed them to win. I'm still with the company and I'm going with the flow change is good you won't know how good until you try good luck to everyone out there that this has affected as for me I hold my head high and I'll keep moving with the company because I choose to.
