Any other clubs require turning in car keys to use a TC70?

Managers are getting more and more access to who logs into them and when so keep hiding them so no one can use when you are not there and end up getting fired for theft.

Yeah they tried that in my club and then I said screw it. I can’t do my job properly if I don’t have one. I walk off and they will bring me one or do that part of the job yourself. Not giving you a damn thing for something I need to do my work with. Wtf

@2upa a manager would have to actually know how to look that info up ( if it really exists). Most managers in all clubs don't know how to do anything.

Actually there is a report CM can run that list every TC70 assigned to the Club and which user ID last logged into it. So associates hiding handhelds beware, that is a coaching offense.

We use to use time clock badge. It works. But where do you keep them now? No one in accounting. Everyone is hiding them in our club too.

Why don't they just put tracker software on them so they can find them.

We only have five TC70's for our entire club. The rest of us are stuck using the old handhelds. Of course most of those apps don't work anymore. We must have 30 older handhelds, enough for everyone, if only they worked.

I hide mine also. I guard it with my life. If I turned it in then did it their way I still would not have one when I needed it. They would all be gone.

Here's a radical idea. Why not have enough TC70s and radios to issue everyone their own to keep in their locker? It's just a billion dollar train wreck if the everyday associate can run things better for nothing compared to HO salaries.

I didn't think they were allowed to do that. There was an associate who had a serious emergency and couldn't get their stuff back to be able to leave the building. A big stink in our market several years ago.

Ask the local Food Bank if they’ve found any. Had over 1/2 dozen come back from them!!!

They have been doing this for years at our club for the walkies msa team leads maintenance etc. Need to turn in a VALID ID or DL especially for the Tc 70's

They cannot do this that is your personal property I think we all agree that people should turn equipment in but you cannot punish everyone what if you lose someones license or keys.

They've done that in several clubs. They would say car keys or drivers license. The part that really blows is trying to turn it back in and get your stuff back. Management will take FOREVER! The rule never sticks around long.

coaching is in order for hand held hoarders...let some get fired for non return then you will not have to take car keys....

It’s a bad idea. Personal property in order to use a tool I need to do my job? They should start holding the hoarders accountable.

Not yet..but, that's actually a good idea! People like to hide them for their own use, then the rest the associates can never find one to use!
