To the JOURNALIST - AT&T informed the entire work force several years ago these layoffs were coming and approximately 1/3 of employees gone by 2020 and to retool your skills. Not that it made a difference in regards to being on the list to go. No surprise to me and my peers. Unfortunate yes but can't complain.

Your outdated comments only serve yourself. For the past several years my work center and over organization has been surplussing workforce in mobility as well. This includes today's actions with many targeted for the door in mobility. It may be shocking to you to learn of this, but nothing says intelligence as the profit-division slitting its own wrist.

Telephone company let's go of employees in wire line because no one uses landline anymore. Pretty simple really.
