The shiny new buzz term in TechDev stemming from the recent push to use Agile is “fail fast.” They are certainly doing that. The stock is failing, morale is at an all-time low, good people are losing their jobs...
In over 2 decades this is the absolute worst I’ve ever seen this company. It’s truly sad.
Randall and his cronies should NOT get their millions in bonuses this year - they should use it to pay down the debt that THEY created. But instead, we’re the sacrificial lambs.

The only skill you need is the ability to BS your way into whatever position you have now. Those around you are soon to get the axe and you will not be far behind. You know this, otherwise you would not be here. When AT&T needs to replace the tools such as yourself, used car lots are good place to go recruiting.
Wow, you sound like entitled children. You lost your job in craft based on seniority or job performance. You lost your job in management because you either couldn’t or wouldn’t keep up. The company has changed over the years, some things better some things worse. If you can’t adapt, you don’t belong. No more free rides
I agree with @XlAgO4U-1tnu 100 percent. The company is now revealing itself for what it really is to the rest of us.
PTSD? Drama much? Lay offs have been a quarterly thing since the 80's. Perhaps you are too fragile to work in a big corporation.

Amen to you. 10 years at that rotten place...auditioning to keep my job every month, and being threatened every step of the way. I seriously left that madhouse with PTSD! And yes, the union was too scared to do anything...just kept watching hoards of people go and then made excuses about it. Take my advice and leave now! You are losing 5 year of your health for every year you stay. You will survive on less money, and you will eventually regain your self worth if you promise to never work for an employer like that again. Nothing is worth all that. Nothing. AT&T is the devil.
I worked for AT&T for 11 years and as a prem tech there was nothing to look forward to except getting screwed! Nobody was interested in helping us out that had any time! The hours where enough to get a divorce over! The company is just revealing itself to the rest of ya’ll! I left last sipp because there is no future. If you didn’t get lay-off papers yet, look for a job and leave. The place should be sued, the union too!
