After moving most of cloud UX to Seattle there’s a big cut headed to the group in February including all levels of designers.

UX is the most important aspect of business these days. It is what drives the customer experience. For Cloud offering, there is a huge focus on UX in oracle. It is hard to foresee a cut in UX.
The UX people NOT in Seattle have targets...
Oracle's gotta cut somewhere. It's easy to argue that UI design is unnecessary. It's considered a luxury at small companies where the development team does that work as part of everything else.
I believe it. Since they merged the two UX groups and said they would focus only on one UI - not the two that currently existed - I figured it wouldn't take too long before people would be leaving.
do you have more specifics? This sounds like b---s---. My group has been hiring like crazy in the last 4 months, and interviews continue.
@XdcRgGx-ikw, UX is user experience design is the process of creating user satisfaction with a product by improving the usability, accessibility, and pleasure provided in the interaction with the product. Or essentially working with the UI (User Interface). One of my buds (who no longer works there, of course) was working with UX.
Does Oracle have UX designers?!! That has to be the funniest Oracle joke I've heard in a long time.
How many people does it take to design big crank handles and forms interfaces?
Oracle has the worst user interface of any software company on the face of the earth, just compare WorkDay to HCM, etc. need more not less UX
It’s the design team getting hit again. They finally realized that oracle isn’t about design... Go figure!
What's UX?
Ever heard about this group
Good luck though
