@vgz, I tend to agree, especially since any HR changes around telecommuting... just changes to local practice.
This open office concept is total BS, it's just a fad, and its Just T trying to chase the millennials and make it seem like it's a progressive place to work. But yeah it's a fad and really also a lot cheaper so that's why it's implemented.
As.for the WFH , I tend to agree as soon as this purge is complete and the head count starts heading in the right direction, WFH will be allowed, initially on a limited basis and then back as before.. elimination of WFH was really mostly about "encouraging" senior folks to take those packages now....rather than hang in there for a few more years.. and give the corporate discretionary cash flow a boost
Most of these company executives are gullible beyond reason on the flavor of the month. Hope you got enough tspace badges, nano-degrees and “diversity and inclusions” certificates..... looks awesome on a resume right?
