Yesterday there was a confrontation in an area, one guy was so loud on his headset he was disruptive. A few gave him the Seinfeld "eye roll" but he didn't get the message. Finally someone tapped him on the shoulder & he became quite indignant. Oh the joy of "engagement zones". Have to come in early to get a good seat, if you don't smash up on the road by an insane driver by the time you reach the office. Fun times. Thanks Randall.

Where are these places where people have returned to the office when they previously WFH and there is no space for them?
Everyone I know is downright sick of this charade of collaboration & having to sit in a stinky office day after day for no reason.
WFH allowed me to get my 8 hours done with no commute time - I work to live. Adding 3 hours to my day commuting so I can collaborate or engage is just not happening. That is 15 hours a week I am not willing to give them. I will wait for my layoff notice...
It won’t fool anyone. I hope people reading this thread don’t blindly follow that advice. While some of it is solid, the part about the badge swipe, then leaving for the day after a few hours, will be exposed in a matter of months.
@tpi Who is that going to fool? As you state, it shows exactly what you are doing on the reports. I'm sure they have a script adding up the hours- Not done by hand.
Yup. But Tolerate it and make it work for you until you can get a check. It the CZ is miserable, come in early and leave at lunch time if you live close enough to an office. You will still show up on the VPN report but at least you will be getting the badge swipes. I see a lot
Of people doing this. Ride it out, collect a check, leave on time and don’t give 100%. Wait for the buyout.

I get what you are saying about staying. But life is too short to put up with att. There are tons of other better paying and more fulfilling jobs out there. att is insane plain and simple.
