As this article reports GE has been in discussions to sell the GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the jet-leasing business to a private equity firm Apollo Global Management. Look like the only thing that is a revenue-maker is going to be sold. I really don't like this strategy of selling off profitable parts of the company in order to raise cash and try to fix the unfunctional ones.
