A good chunk of folks were called in today to inform that they were impacted by the "management staff reductions". These are non-bargained positions. Notice date 8/20 off payroll on 10/19

All managers should join the union asap, then they won’t lose all their benefits and get laid off. They will be required to complete tasks and sweat like animals in the field though.

@UwF56Hb-1ffu are you serious? The union can not save the masses when this ship goes down. They will just sell us all out like they always have. I remember when a construction layoff occurred in Chicago and the union let ATT contact out buried drops and locates that were union jobs if the put off the surplus. A year latter ATT came back and laid off 2x the # they wanted the year before. And that is not including the work the union gave away
Management employees need to unionize! I am a former director, got forced out. It 's BS they even call the salaried workers "managers".... they are salaried workers and should be able to unionize just like other professional or salaried workers... Every year they strip back benefits from 'management' workers. Most management employees have NO ONE reporting to them... they use the term 'manager' to imply otherwise... what a farce....
if you took 2 much vacation, you will need to repay, or discounted from severance. sorry those are the new rules
Doubtful due to payroll date. RAN organization call held 2pm CST. less then 10% affected not enough takers on MVO package and need to make up difference all regions. They would not say how many took package or number of affected employees on call. WILL NOT BE TAKING ANY VOLUNTEERS THIS ROUND DUE TO MVO RECENTLY OFFERED. Individuals affected will receive surplus package in mid-August/ or within two weeks. Leadership will rank individuals based on skills, performance, leadership, experience, last years performance rating etc. Seniority is not taken into account. 60 day off payroll Oct. 19th, 30 day OPT out off payroll September 10th.
FYI - Beware of new vacation guidelines if use entitled per beginning of year versus what was earned you may owe restitution.Rep on call did state after question to look up guidelines on HR One Stop for accrual guideline.
