The Union screwed their guys. The "Union" Stupid-intendant was always screwed everyone......oh and by the way ...... he is working for a NON UNION Contractor now. SMH wake up. The guys who crossed within 6 months of the strike will always be considered SCABS. but after 6 months you gotta do what you gotta do.

Charter has a well thought out exit plan. They will make money off customers if they keep the system. They will make money if they sell the system.

Local 3 had no plan 2 years ago. They have no plan today. 1800 members and their lives messed up.

@tecq No need for the "insane salaries" ??? So you're one of those people that is annoyed because of the salaries and benefits of these strikers, I guess? We got back 99% of the guys we want. The hold outs are the guys we don't want. The troublemakers that go on youtube and twitter trying to impress each other. They have violated code of conduct and are not welcomed back even if they crossed.

sorry the politicians did nothing for you and no our franchise will not be pulled because you guys think you deserve pensions

The strike is unoffically over. The union has given up, most strikers have crossed, and charter has enough crossers, contractors, temps, and newly hired techs up to speed to cover the work. Sure they miss the talents of the seasoned veterans but no need for the entitled drama and insane salaries.

It will go on indefinitly. All the open positions have been back filled by Altice techs that jumped ship and over half of strikers have come back to work.

Tech III Makes $93,000/year

Did you know, at a hearing on May 23rd before a Hearing Officer at the NLRB, it was discovered that a recent supervisor turned Tech III after only 7 months with Spectrum makes $45/hr and $93,000/year base salary! That’s right – a TECH III

The last contract offer from Charter to the Union was as follows:

►Tech 1: from $11.00 to $17.00

►Tech 2: from $12.00 to $18.50

►Tech 3: from $13.50 to $20.50

►Tech 4: from $17.50 to $26.50

►Tech 5: from $36.53 to $41.00

►Foremen: from $41.98 to $43.00

How can a Tech III make more than other Tech IIIs, Tech IV, Tech V or Foreman? This is what happens when there is No Union – the Employer treats everyone however they want.

We made a bad call on the strike and expect everyone to cross the line eventually. IN the mean time, we will continue to collect dues from the Union divisions we actually care about and sit in our air conditioned offices on Jewel Avenue. Have a productive and safe day.
