That would be a good fit. Their customer service reps cant speak English either.
I could see Verizon acquiring SIRIUS Radio. SIRIUS has declining revenue, has excessive talent expenses. The service uses obsolete technologies and is taking a backseat to smartphone music apps. It is a complete dud, so it should have appeal to VZ!

They are coming over a record year with 35 million subs. That’s 15 million more than directv. With a higher ARPU. I agree with the unlikely posts below though.

sirius/xm is a perfect fit with other obsolete units such as oath. even though everyone is now podcasting and playing back content on their phones, we believe there is growth in elderly drivers with 10 year old cars with built in radio units.
Speaking of payphones, there was a large VZ wireless outage in Pa. about a week ago. The Pa. Turnpike Commission actually said that motorists needing to make an emergency call should use the nearest exit and find a pay phone. Lol.
we are buying back the payphones we sold. the sides will be all digital ads from oath. and no there will be no dialtone on the phones , no different than the past 100 years.

Doesnt Liberty media own a lot of the stock? They might not be willing to sell except for a hefty premium
If I was still at VZ, I would buy AM stations in rural markets. The reach will equal to AOL and Yahoo combined.

As wild as this sounds. It makes sense. They have valuable spectrum, a large subscriber base and strong relationships with car manufacturers. While it seems unlikely, to own that aspect of content delivery could be an interesting play.
