The tail is wagging the dog on this one. With this deal, AT&T is entertainment first and all else second. Look for a move to east (NY where TW is) or west (LA) coasts and goodby sticks of Dallas. Dallas always had the stick of the old SBC management. Feel bad for the s---ers that relocated there... will never get back to civilization,

No speculation, they are going to spend at least one hundred million dollars to change out the furniture and facade of the building in Dallas. Hey look, Randy is creating jobs after all, in the building trades. Now if one finds themselves in telecom wondering what their future holds, well there is an app for that, and if you need technical support with said app, you may speak with Sanyja Gupta from "Texas".
The revamp of the Dallas campus has been in the works prior to the TW buy. Come on people facts here, don’t speculate.
"The Dallas Sticks" has a much more favorable business environment - i.e., it's a lot cheaper - than either the east or west coasts. Bean Counter Randy knows this. It makes a lot of business sense to keep the headquarters where they're at. Also, you can buy several really nice houses here - for the price of one average house (at best) on either coast. And no state income tax. And don't worry - we traded in our horses for cars a while back - but we do have longhorn cattle drives through downtown Fort Worth every day :)
"Those hicks" have bought out the companies based in the dying Union City zones. Feel free to move back to the next Detroit.
"What about the morons that relocated."

They are useful "some what" T employees that got fooled. That is all.
What abouth the morons that relocated?
Dallas, LA, and New York are the hubs.
AT&T announced plans to spend 100, yes a hundred million dollars to revamp the headquarters in Dallas after the AT&T / Time Warner verdict came back in "our" favor. Akard St. in between 3 Bell and 4 Bell is going away and will become a "green space park" from what I've heard. I seriously doubt Randy and crew are going to relocate to either coast, but this is AT&T we are talking about.
My last day was 5/4. Hours worked and unused vacation was paid by live check towards the end of the month, severance the beginning of June. You should contact the HR person in your notification letter about your pay issue.
Do you really think those hicks will leave their cocoon? Makes sense NY or CA but not sure it will happen.
I was laid off April 26. Still have not received vacation time payout or severance. Anyone else?
20 years has come to this.. its a joke.
