HAH is going to fail their audit and its on poor management. They are shooting themselves in the foot trying to work without adequate number of employees. I can foresee overdues becomming an unfortunate issue. Very soon. Too much demand and not enough employees. I am not worried about layoffs. Im worried about HAH being shut down due lack of responsible UPPER UPPER management.

Look, no one was exactly overjoyed about the change, it was a huge change and a lot of our peers left because they didn't want to be HCM's. Even now a few of my teammates are still complaining and have not adjusted to being a HCM. At this point I truly wish they would either shut up and work or just quit already! And before you jump all over my case about my last statement, please consider the advice you gave me about having some class and supporting my fellow teammates. Trying to work with these people is exhausting. They literally s--- any joy or happiness out of each and every day. These people find fault with everything. While the rest of us jump in and help each other, they remain silent and offer nothing, but always expect others to help them every. single. day. It's like they look for ways to be difficult. They're also disrespectful to our Coach who is just trying to do her job and will do just about anything to help us out.

@SXIGBwr-dur- You too must be from Planet BS. That is not at all what happened. We knew we were becoming HCM's. The freak out was over whether you got a roster or you went to the dialer.
As an hcmss that would be better scenario, becoming a CM vs being phased out altogether...may make sense with the behavioral health members
When snp has hcmss our queues shrunk little by little and then hcmss no more. During a rif, if i remember correctly, some were let go and the rest became hcms. We heard nothing about it before hand it was a huge shockee to many and can definitely be a possibility for the hccp hcmss'. But youre right social workers will never go away the nurses need us as much as we need them.

Stay in your own dream world with your belittling comments. From way back in Humana Cares days the big problem with Humana has been created by 'precious' nurses. Gone from being Dr's hand maidens to angelic superstars. Give us all a break. Effective health care either in hospital, home or telephonic is delivered by a team. Get this 'Nurse'! The world does not revolve around you. Sorry for the shock horror revelation but you are not THE most important cog in the wheel... That would be the PATIENT.

Hcmss here, doesn’t look that way, we are down to less than 90, we are trying to work the queue down, there’s been no talk or indication of it, the closest seems to be the BH program where social workers are CMs, I think. It’s not looking very good for the hcmss
Are the HCMSS that work under HCCP moving into HCM roles like what happened in SNP?

Hccp HCM RN here....do the hcmss realize we are doing their work for them since we are going to be taking over as care managers and they are going to be phased out to only be there for the urgent tasks? While we aren’t able to do warm transfers, we are able to do what they do, it’s us managing the member and helps with continuity...I’m sorry they are being phased out, it’s going to be hard on them, but in the long run, for the members, easier on the members, the care plan audits and the cms
