I requested well-being time for Feb 14 and was told by my coach that she can’t make that decision yet as there will be some layoffs next week and she’s not sure who’s going to be here and who’s not. Last week she told our team that SNP was not affected. Now it’s a different story but I’m not sure whether or not she’s threatening us with that because she doesn’t want to give us our well-being time.

Our models don’t matter for this change.
I said something to share that SNP is not getting cut, but that their will be a change and that is why the request was denied. Or maybe their coach is going on vacation for a week and didn’t want to approve it because she wasn’t sure when the information would be communicated. And someone below is on the right track. Not everything is correct but they are using the clues and thinking about it without jumping to conclusions.
RwyqURa-1ifr - You're assumptions are all incorrect. Relax, you're NOT being RIF'd.
So OPs coach told her there were going to be some layoffs in SNP next week, which is directly opposite from what our COM told us. We were told in a meeting that we were not being affected this time because HCCP has a different model than us and it is their model being changed. Now someone else has commented that there is a big change coming for all HCMs meaning SNP and HCCP. That also contradicts the statement that HCCP works completely differently and runs on a different model. So please, tell us if SNP nurses are also on the chopping block. I would like a straight up answer not all this dancing around and vagueness!
How will this change affect HCM-SS and CHEs. Will it take more work away from them?
Well if you can say that much you certainly can say more. Why say anything at all? Now every one is going to jump to the most dramatic conclusions for the next week. What does it have to do with flexibility of the position?
Were being cut from FTE to part time to save on benefits? All going hourly, not salary, with no overtime?
Please say were not all going on autodialer!
Very interesting. Next week is going to full of information
All.
@1xyn- is this just for SNP or for all of HAH?
Is it a reduction of other associates involved with SNP outside of the HCMs
It’s not a HCM reduction. It’s a huge change coming for quarter 2, and a solution to something many have complained about, but I doubt people will be thrilled with it. It has a lot to do with flexibility of the role. I honestly cannot say more.
Can you share anymore information to make this clearer to us? If not I understand 😔
Next week it will make sense.
We are only allowed one hour of well-being time per week. Why would your coach not allow you to take one hour of well-being time two weeks from now? That makes no sense. Or, did you mean you requested PTO?
Perhaps there’s an additional change coming not related to Rif and that’s why. You’ll see soon.
Look at it differently... perhaps she is the one that is impacted and was told not to make these decisions until her replacement is known. Just a thought.
Right. Take your well being time weekly. We are professional adults, don’t let your coach teach you like a child. Ridiculous. Not sure even with layoffs that you won’t be here 2 weeks later.
Please speak to your COM. SNP is NOT impacted by the impending RIF.
Wow, sorry. Your coach sounds like she is one of the micromanagers. I don't want to go into specifics but our team's process for notifying our coach of when we take our wellness time is much more autonomous. I have never had my wellbeing time questioned or denied. What is the bug deal? If you are a part of the layoff you will still be eligible for wellbeing time until you are released. If you are released before 2/14 it is a mute point.
