Anyone hearing of club managers getting let go based on performance and not receiving severance pay? They’ve given severance pay to hourly and assistant a managers (dispite good or bad performance) in the past few “restructures”, why would they not do the same for Club Managers?

Walking out associates who are fired has long been a practice for Sam’s and Wal-Mart. There is no reason to not believe this.
Eight managers gone from four Sam's clubs in KC area today. We are nowhere near any of the clubs that were closed. And yes, they are being walked out of the building.
Was anything mentioned in the one on one meetings about the other waves or re-vamping? Hourlys? More changes to come? Etc
Did anyone lose an APM?
Closest club to us that closed down is 300 miles away. We lost 3 managers today.
For those of you that claim to be in buildings where mgrs are being walked out (& you have to excuse the skepticism when we have not internally heard any conformations of this) are you located near a club that closed down? I am waiting til Thursday to hear so I want to be as “accurately” prepared as possible!
What clubs are the managers being let go
We had 3 get walked out. CM, CO and front end. Market Manager called us up and explained that they were being displaced and could apply for open positions.

My post wasn’t about what GM’s got let go. It was asking if they do get let go, do they get a severance package like everyone else has in the past?
How can 4 managers be walked out immediately? Who is going to run the club? This doesn’t make a lot of sense!
Severance was offered.
we lost 4 managers in club - all walked to the exit door. Sad day - do not understand how they rated performance. 1 manager that should of been let good was kept.
