@2klp please do not mislead the op. while there is some discontent of these forums (it's the nature of the audience) I have not seen anyone post anything that I have not seen myself. In fact, the reason why this forum has become so popular in recent months is BECAUSE we say what management does not. ELT and management have decided Citrix is more about squeezing dollars out of every person and not attracting, developing, and retaining the best talent.
Asking management about the concerns in this thread will only signal that op is smart enough to look for a second opinion, and most managers don't like employees who second guess the chain of command. Asking a team member is 50/50- they are either following the threads too, in which case they are saying the same things I'm saying, or they rat you out to management to gain favor to get promoted out of whatever dead end job they are stuck in.
@op there ARE some really smart people at Citrix. There are fewer, but still some, great managers. You may join a great team, and do good work for months or even years. But as a broader organization, you will hit a wall. You will get passed over for promotion if you speak out, you won't get funding, you will do more work with India and have a harder time because of it, and if you are smart management will ride your a-- so they look good until you burn out and quit, as is happening at all levels in Raleigh.
If you go in, go in with both eyes open.
