A lot of folks are waiting to get STIP bonus and will bolt out before the ship sinks.

Can someone explain all the jargons Al Monaco wrote.

The weights for ICs are now 35/50/15. Clawbacks are nonstop. Last year they were 80/10/10 so you had more influence over your STIP. On top of this, most people will be pidgeonholed into a 1x or 1.5x multiplier this year.

Has the calculation changed? I received far less than I expected this year. What are the new multipliers? Do ICs still get 80% for the individual performance measure or has that changed too?

Grateful? Every year our total pay goes down. The STIP is part of our pay structure but for some reason I lose money when some jerk from Transcanada hits our pipeline in Canada. Why do I lose money for that. Just an excuse?? We spend weeks away from home, risk being killed or maimed in a host of different ways, and work safely outside in all kinds if awful weather, yet my STIP is determined by pencil pushers getting their job done. Maybe 8 less SDO's in Canada would help them to get their work done.

I was told my numbers today and, as for STIP, I’ve had better (last year) and I’ve had worse. Merit raise, while I received one, was laughable to say the least. All is well though because I survived yet another year and pleased to have received what I did.

Was told my bonus amount. Hands down the WORST one I will have ever received (been here over 15 years). Is it better than nothing? Sure. No raise either (3rd year). I think AM should not get a bonus, period, as well as anyone in upper management that has helped with the creation of this sh--hole.

Legacy Spectra employees just had to be here December 31. Legacy Enbridge must be here on payout date. In the US.

As is usual, Canadian and U.S. policies are different, always to the benefit of Canadian emplloyees.

If you are on the Canadian side and employed Jan. 1 you get your stip no matter if you are here at distribution time or not. I don’t know about the U.S. side.

And the utility scorecard results are being lowered by a management adjustment. What’s the point of having a scorecards with targets if they don’t actually stick to them?

STIP payout (in U.S.) is February 23rd. If you’re a U.S. employee and you leave prior to that date, you will not be awarded those monies.

....why is anyone getting STIP? Worst year in Company history with the worst yet to come. Isnt the point of random layoffs 2 weeks ago to ensure we all still feel lucky to have a pay check and to help stop the bleeding? Instead, my extremely hard working coworker with a mortgage and young family gets disrespectfully escorted out the building with an envelope in hand - but we still have AM and his BOD pounding on their bonus drums while dancing a native jig.

As a minimum the already well-paid VPs and above should take Zero Bonuses, start leading by example and get us out of this mess!
