Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Reteaming

Reteaming should be announced next week with early release date for impacted associates. Coaches will be instructed on remaining associates to monitor aux codes and time very closely going forward. Anyone who spends too much time between calls, charting or otherwise will be coached or placed on a PIP as needed. If you go inactive on Skype and are not on a break coaches are going to be told to find out why and take corrective action. Time spent working will be very closely monitored going forward and associates will be expected to account for all of their day in detail.

Well it’s nearly 7 pm Eastern so you can’t exactly accuse anyone posting at this hour of spending their work time on this site. Doesn’t quite make sense.

@pno, that sounds miserable. I hope your health improves now!

The answer to that is after hours. Not during work hours, unlike you all who have been posting here all day long apparently.

And actually, I am a supportive coach, all the way up until I catch attitude from a bunch of entitled feeling HCMs like you.

Love and Light--I am out.

“research your problems that you can't figure out, research other problems to figure out if they are really even problems...”

Wow, you are soooo busy. Where do you find time to be a condescending grouch?

Coaches aren't there to babysit you but often times have to do just that. Until you walk a mile in their shoes, don't judge. They have a lot more responsibility than you are aware of. They also defend and protect you more than you will ever know so please just stop with your BS.

To the person who noted above that the coach is their "resource" and should be available at all times to screen share.....get real! I actually snorted while laughing at you.

You have no idea what coaches actually do all day long, but I can guarantee that we are not there to be at your your beck and call. If I was, I would get nothing else done.

How long do you think it takes to do 20+ call reviews, 20+ 1:1's, plan team meetings and attend all other required meetings. Over-manage 20 rosters-so that my (OUR) MPS reports stay in line with where they need to be, fix all of your errors, research your problems that you can't figure out, research other problems to figure out if they are really even problems, review several reports on out-of-compliance members, monitor CMS, etc. etc. etc.

You all need to quit pointing your fingers at your coaches and either become one, or just focus on doing your own job and quit whining. Seriously. I have never seen so many people with green eyes around here. You can get a phone too people, but it is not all sunshine and roses over here! I promise!

I have to say as a PHC it was hell being tied to my desk and phone all day. We were held to the fire with the aux codes. In addition due to the limited mobility my health suffered. With that being said I’m happy to have a sense of normalcy again and more importantly able to have control over my work and not someone watching me all day everyday. Good luck with the use of aux codes and hourly pay. It’s doable but at a the cost of happiness. I was never happy as a phc it was the money that kept me.

: @RKabllF-dvf This has been my point for a LONG time. If the Coach is supposed to be my resource, and being that I am tied to the phone, does it not seem reasonable that my Coach would be spending his/her time in front of their computer to address any issues that may required screen sharing? Cracks me up that Senior Leadership is apparently so concerned about us not working every second of the day, yet Coaches are “away on mobile,” a lot of the time.

Maybe they should shorten some of the assessments and documentation then.

This doesn't surprise me. This has been the way it's been going. My coach tried to coach me on 15 minutes spent making support calls.
