LAYOFFS IN TEXAS??-- SW SURPLUS DECLARATION

Does anyone have access to the SW Surplus Declaration?? I saw that an earlier post contained the SE, and was curious if the SW declaration has been posted anywhere.

I think DFW will get hit next time. Lots of downtime.

Wonder when they are gonna layoff perm techs in DFW?

Can't say and not in a position to know. I can say I was surprised that they didn't and was glad that they didn't as well. This round will give the DFW techs a heads up to get their finances in order. It is not if but when. The Prem Techs that are being cut now have about 3 weeks on the payroll. The ones not affected have another 3 month before this comes around again. If you are core, I&R CST, DEG, Specials tech etc, USE the the NACTEL program now. This will allow you to get a A.S. degree on the company/union dime (which won't mean di*k with this company) but will save you about 35 grand toward a B.S.

I haven't been able to find one however, I was notified that the surplus affected me and my job. Also a tech in the local DEG group was also affected. Not much more info

I saw a .pdf file from the union with the surplus location and number affected, so I know a list is out there. Try the cwa6215 website.
