Wow you hit the jackpot with this offer.
Don’t waste anytime thinking about it, sign up as fast as you can
LOL ! Good one !
you forgot to mention that management @ oracle can walk on the water !
Take it in a heartbeat. You won’t regret your decision
Go for it. Oracle has enlightened management that will steer the company to greatness and beyond.
Take the job. Make sure you get stock on the way in. Contribute at the top 25% of your org and you’ll be set.
Made millions off this stupid company. Everyone who says raises don’t happen nor do bonuses and RSUs is a bottom feeder in the org.
Good luck. Worthy experience for 5 years then leave.
Asking people subscribing to a RIF bulletin board ?
For goodness sake - get a grip Sunshine !
OP. Your question is like asking "Should I want to get herpes"?
Hey s?ck?er oracle managers, try to argument about what was posted below.
Problem is you don't understand what oracle SaaS, PaaS, IaaS is ?
What ADF is ?
You only attended the "Fantastic Manager" training provided by oracle ?
You are a bunch of "s?ck?r managers".
You have zero knowledge in oracle old technology, your knowledge comes only from corporate powerpoints. Don't get it ? try to at least color it, or ask your kids to do it for you !
Shame on you !!!
You should work at MacDonald's flipping burgers.
"Except DaaS"
I meant "Except SaaS".
Our SaaS is garbage as well. At least the stuff we haven't acquired. FA is the worst enterprise software ever written. It's built on useless junk like ADF and Jdeveloper. Even a decade ago when some people outside Oracle still used those technologies, it was clear to everyone except TK that they were a dead end. Anyway, the few customers today who actually use FA hate it. And everything is run by PDIT, a bunch of help desk jockeys who can't even use a Linux command prompt. Imagine having an ops team that needs outside help to simply navigate around in a shell. And don't even get me started on the security holes...
OP is a troll who has no job at oracle.
No need to loose time with this idiot.
BTW, each time a troll posts such message, none of them is able to explain the job they got.
Good companies don’t continually reduce employee benefits as Oracle has been doing for the last 6 years now.
Look elsewhere.
The management here walks on water and are nimble enough to steer the company to track the market trends-not...
This company is a joke...run as far away from Oracle as fast as you can
Wtf? Great place work. VIsionary Management? - What are you smoking?...
Serious advice. . Look for another company. AWS, Google. MS, SFDC, Apple, There are many progressive companies who value employee contribution. You will see most of the employees RIFd by Oracle are placed in these companies and are doing exceptionally well. Oracle is full of s---ers and morons. + MH and SC.
Oracle is a great place to work - Hell no. Unless you haven't worked in any other company
Visionary Management - Management is the problem. Especially VPs and Above till MH and SC
Potential to advance if you work hard - Nps one cares unless you have a god father or know the right people.
Salary -Pathetic. Forget any raises and chances are they will lay off soon as the company is on sharp decline regardless of managing the books to show wrong cloud revenue.
Benefits. None. S--- up the right boss.
HR ...
What is the role / job?
If you are glutton for punishment, you definitely should
so you are the OP asking about oracle and answered as @QEtoix1-1hfd with oracle being the best place to work ?
So why are you asking about oracle ?
What technical answers you look for I am grauduate of college in US with degree in computer engieers and was offer job at Oracle
unless you provide technical answers and any evidences about what you wrote is true, you are a true and full dumb--s troll.
Cheers.
"Except DaaS"
I meant "Except SaaS".
LOL !
You won the s?ck'r award of the year !
This is the most stupid comment I have ever read on this board !
"established and experienced management"
Are you under meds, seriously ?
Management at oracle is a joke, none of the managers or directors have anything to say.
"competitors or disgruntled ex-employees".
So you have no idea, it is just a guess, right ?
Many ex-employees were very skilled and experienced engineers, so expensive. They were layed off because of that.
Except DaaS, Oracle Cloud is a joke, based on proprietary technology and old dev tools. Whos is using ADF , can you tell me ?
Very few cst are using IaaS or PaaS.
Oracle Cloud Machine is even a bigger joke.
oracle employees try to convince csts to replace their exdata with OCM, but none of them will do it.
Every cst knows that oracle cloud is very weak in term of security.
On Premise products are so bugged that every cst know they are doing QA instead of oracle.
please try this, go and meet 10 csts: tell them what you wrote above, and come back here and tell us how long did it take for you to be shown the door ?
have a good day in Bangalore !
Oracle is by far the best place to work, with an established and experienced management, high salary and good benefits, a friendly environment that will help your personal growth and professional carrier. Don't beleive anything you read on this board, it's all fake news, all FUD spread by competitors or disgruntled ex-employees, that were laid-off for a good reason.
If you really have an opportunity, join Oracle and start working in the most advanced and visionary environment.
...may not see a raise for MANY YEARS....
If the offer is to work on BMC, then only if the starting salary is really high. You may not see a raise for manners. Any other team, don't join, even if the offer salary s really high. It is a career dead end.
Got to be a fake post. No one wants to work at Oracle. Oracle is seriously in decline.
Fake OP and fake @QEtoix1-abo and @QEtoix1-abo.
All of you are trolls.
abo - Here, you dropped this -- /s
Better ask for as high if a salary as you can negotiate as you won't see a raise for years period.
The best and great workplace for positions in HR, Legal, Compliance , Finance and Facilities.
Oracle is a great place to work, truly visionary management, potential to advance if you work hard, great salary and benefits
