No, you aren't special, just like techies found out in 2001.
That was but a flesh wound compared to what's coming this time around.

Some of us tech workers know what we're doing. That deserves respect. I'd like to see the collection of useless directors and senior directors at Oracle build anything useful. You can't do anything without good tech people. Oracle has been alienating their good tech people for years, a lot of them have left already, more will no-doubt be laid-off in preference to the stupid and useless yes-men-tech-clueless-airheads that the management prefer to work with.
Oracle is over. There will never be a working Oracle cloud.
old news
Trolls yes i liked that movie very much... follow up with Catz, Mark and Larry as voices would be hilarious.
Don't feed the trolls.
layoffs are coming, get prepared
Tech is hot, hot, hot; oracle is a different story. In other words, the OP’s premise and all the other garbage he made up, is well, flawed garbage
How about the arrogance and entitlement mentality (total compensation to the tune of 1000X+ relative to rank and file in some industries) of the upper level managers and executives in the Tech Industry or for that matter in any or most industries ?
Also, how about that of the health care profession / professionals (doctors, surgeons, administrators, health and pharmaceutical industry executives, etc.) ? Granted some of them study lot more and longer, however, still it does not justify the relative difference in compensation.
18% of our GPP gets spent on health care and yet 50million+ are uninsured/underinsured; on average it's 12% of GDP for most developed nations/economies.
You have unresolved anger issues. Not healthy.
That's right.
We must learn how to enjoy pink slips once in a while. Pink slips give you a very good break in your life from doing mundane work and hence can improve your health.
