Anyone hear anything about any wireless rep layoffs or store closings or any smaller stores closing or turning to indirect stores? If so this year or next? Quota is outrageous we need to stand together and do something about it. Don't mess with the front line who makes you the money. How do they decide what stores to close or turn to indirect. What are the deciding factors?

@P97sdeY - there is no deciding factor and if you've been around long enough, you'd know every year without fail there's a RIF to have you off the payroll by EOY, Keep up!
Have any A stores converted? I've read that mostly the b and c stores have.
You mean like this?

Happens every day! Slowly, quietly, you will never see it coming. Hope you're saving some of your overpaid salary. Because this retail gravy trains pulling into the station!
there is a correlation between the outrageous quotas and the amount of time one chooses to holds on in situations they should leave. wish they'd hurry up so the laser focus can be on the lousy senior managers in corporate. Not gonna be able to hide and coast much longer
dishonest
liars
poor value system
Look at VZ stock as it continues a downward spiral. Stores will be closing across the interprise and in every market. HQ has no choice but to close and convert its retail operations. Look for retail operations and training department to get eliminated soon. Both can easlily be out sourced for much less.
@1oh you must be one of the koolaid drinking managers that will soon be laid off. Keep dreaming your going to retire from this company....haha good luck to you. Your sadly misinformed.
we lost 3 reps and no replacement.
If the Quota is outrageous, then don't let the door hit ya on the way out.
I had a customer yesterday ask me "are you guys going to close?". I told him I didn't know. Mind you were one of the busiest stores on the east coast. Words out, hopefully soooooooooooooon.
