Wrong. In the US accrued vacation is paid out based on state labor laws.
Is this trick still working?
WRONG on ACCRUED vacation. I know people who weren't in either of those states who left or got laid off still got their full accrual.
Accrued vacation will NOT be paid out if you live in the US... except CA, MT, and maybe NE.
They need to cut your final check which will include unused but acrued vac time
Don't think it works that way. Everything was groovy when I got laid off June 1st. I even had a guy call me about upgrading my laptop... Is your vacation zeroed out?
