Worked for AT&T fir over 30 years they love to keep employees on edge by making you think your going to lose your job, nothing but a holes in upper management treat lower management like slaves just my 2 cents, I always said I loved my job (splicer) but hated who I worked for, good luck to those that work there now...

@toe I am not the original poster but what you described is what happened to me. I had a manager, a paper pusher who never did any phone work but was appointed a manager as a favor - he was very insecure and horrible manager
Typical, Let me guess, your supervisor never did phone work, probably a clerk in a some back office, granted favor from our outstanding management team
