Still in progress - it's brutal - I hope someone posts the total numbers but I hear it's really bad. Wife works there I'll see if I can post more when she comes back home. There is a ton of anxiety, not only workers but also family and friends as this was building up over last few weeks.

Core retail is tanking, but the business model is changing and your DTC sale gains should offset your wholesale losses.
The economy is not tanking. You're losing marketshare.
@ebf The economy is not tanking. Dow Jones is up 10% year over year, Nasdaq is up 30% year over year, housing prices are up 4% year over year and wages are up 2.9% year over year. Unemployment is at a 16 year low.
Retail sales are not taking. Legacy retail outfits struggle but the overall volume of retail sales is up 1.4% year over year as of 8/1...
Retail sales and the economy are tanking. Is this news to you?
Then no surprise that layoffs are happening.
And it will get FAR WORSE.
This has been building since October 2016... It's horrible, what a year's worth of this kind of anxiety can do to a person. Dragging it out just isn't humane.
