Its idiotic to say solutions specialists jobs will not be affected when several stores have already closed and been turned and auctioned off to indirect stores. If you know any other stores or plans please say something. Were not children we have families and kids its crap to be told last minute that we are being shut down. Are they done with layoffs or closing the smaller stores? Seems they are jacking up quota to unnatainable numbers so we can be put on corrective action so when they shut us down they dont have to pay us a severance package

Look at it this way, you milked a cushy retail job for a long time and now the gravy train is pulling into the station. You are supporting a family on a retail job? Shame! Shame! Priorities man! Retails dead. Writing has been on the wall for a few years. Get a clue.

The Verizon employees that are aware of what stores are closing or being turned into indirect will not comment on this site.
Most of the people that comment on here are
1) Union members
2) Miserable and enjoy watching chaos ensue
3) Argumentative
You will not get answers here. You will walk away with more frustrations and angst.
My advice: Go to college and make Verizon pay for it. That way if your store does close you'll have a leg up on the comp. learn a language....Verizon will pay for that as well. Make yourself more marketable. Use Verizon while theu continue to use you.
