I think someone forgot to tell the "e-mailers of doom" that PHCs no longer work 8am to 4:30pm. We're mostly on 9am - 5:30pm or later. Great way to end the day...getting a layoff invitation! A handful of people on my team got emails but it only looks like the first half of the alphabet so far. We'll see how much farther the carnage spreads in the morning.
They only do one email blast.

Yes at least 4 CHEs that I know of.
So... one person saying the emails come in waves and another saying that you would've received it by 5:30pm if you were going to be laid off. I sure hope to God it's the former and not the latter. Guess we'll find out in the am.
There is no benefit to exceeding metrics. I never do, never ever, and I'm still here. I have never idea what that "outside company" looks for, but it's not metrics.
I don't see any reason to go after 100, shooting the messenger and all that. The writing is on the wall for PHC's and we know we aren't "safe," email or no email. 2017 has taught us nothing if we haven't realized we are not safe as PHC's.
It's pretty heartless and ruthless to send the email the during the work day before you're even off of work for the day. So that you can sit and stress and worry about it all night long with no sleep and feeling completely sick and disgusted for 12 hours straight. F them. My confidential meetings at 10am. So much for my exceeding metric expectations daily and having a 98% average quality score on call audits.

Does years of service have anything to do with layoffs? I've been with the company for 9 years.
Another lay off is coming as the Demo projects are ending at the end of the year. If you don't currently work in the Demo world, you will not be affected by this
I was laid off first round. They will come in waves throughout the night and am. Stay as strong as you can everyone.

I am disappointed too. If you talk to enough people, you realize how many of us just want severance and time to find a job elsewhere, where we are no longer treated like garbage. There should have been a volunteer option so others could stay

Previous poster, how do you know that another layoff is happening at the end of October?
Why are they breaking up these layoffs like this? For the ones remaining, morale is destroyed or they are in the actively job hunting process.
So unless the end game is no more (or just a handful) of PHC's in 2018, why continue to harm morale and promote attrition? Why not get all the layoffs over at once? I know there are business reasons, it just doesn't look like there is any good end game here for PHC's.

I'm a PHC. Looks like 5 from my team got the invite. I did not and I confess I am disappointed. I would rather be laid off than someone with health problems, a single parent, etc. It really is a shame we are not allowed to volunteer. I wonder about which coaches are being laid off.

Since folks are getting them at all different times, it looks like they are coming out in waves. Maybe half tonight, half tomorrow. Not sure why they just couldn't do them all at once! Will they have separate meetings for PHCs and CHEs or do them together? That could be the difference too. Slowly working through the PHCs then the CHEs will be next. Maybe?
