@O7Nrnix-1evm..Yoiu are right. The severance package is being reduced as this post is typed.
What I assume is that we will get screwed one way or another.
You are making the assumption that the Verizon sev. Package will be in 2018 what it is today...... BR wants to cut that package I half .
If you are former XO, just expect that you will be laid off and then if you are in the likely minority that aren't, enjoy the surprise. Just my view.
I expect a lot of XO layoffs before 2/8/2018. That's the date where VZ can change our pay, but more importantly (to them) we will be put on their severance plan at that point. If you survive until then it will cost them twice as much to get rid of you.
