When I was with Verizon I did my best to sell with integrity and still managed to be a top performer. It's possible as people appreciate your honesty. I'm at a new sales job and I continue to sell with integrity and it pays off. Customers appreciate it and are willing to send more business your way if you take care of them.
The people that sell with integrity are almost always the ones on the bottom of the sales board. Was like that at all 5 stores I worked at... I got out a few months ago...to toxic....making a bit less money, but I see my family and don't hate my job.
Yea, we've got 2 reps that may be going to a local tv station about the sales tactics. God knows they have plenty of examples!
@1bja - No it's not a "you" problem, it's a Verizon problem. There is no integrity at Verizon. They should make toilet paper rolls out of the credo because it is a complete joke.
Your just another brain washed v teamer. BETTER MATTERS!
The "top performers" at my store don't sell anything, the lower someone's bill without telling the customer and add on a hum or service. We have people coming in , not only from our store but others that are near, asking what a hum is, saying they had to take it to get the best deal on their plan....total BS.
I felt slimy about selling "fees". Makes me feel like an a--.
2 weeks medical per year not one month per year.
then you should work on your selling skills.
If you go home feeling slimy then that's a "you" problem. If you feel you are dishonest in your selling, etc, then you aren't selling with integrity. I know when I go home, everything I have sold and positioned was with integrity. If you feel that you are feeling pressure because you aren't meeting targets and quota, then you obviously aren't cut out for selling.
LHH IS HORRIBLE - WORTHLESS!!
LHH are clear that they are not a "placement" company, so they won't actually find you a job, they assist in "career transition". They will help you craft a resume, have loads of webinars on various aspects of job search and assign you a dedicated person to help with your case. Plus access to lots of job postings and training courses (Skillsoft) for free.
The amount of time you have depends on your grade, but up to 3 months, whereas other companies offer one.
They pay for job search, many companies do not.
VZ is not the best but not the worst too
They do pay for a third party company to help with job search and transition to other career interest
