That must have been it. No x86 SI? Pretty sure I heard from a couple reputable sources about BUR but must have sys sparc. Just trying to warn since no warning go out. I'm applying at apple next week!!

Not sure where you get your info but the systems SPARC SI team is really small ... less than 10 in BUR after layoffs less than 10 in CA... not much to cut there since about half was cut last week
They really pulled the wool over your eyes. The only thing growing is MH bank account! Good luck in finding new job. Go west man!
More layoffs in spring
True MH thinks SI people play all day and write abscure papers that may or may not ever prove out as profit. He will cut R&D wait and see. I told people in the summer that MH was making big changes well here you go. More to come at Oracle site meat you.
Am in CA I heard SI dev teams bith sparc and x86 were going to be cut deep in BUR including manager. Not was this round or next in spring. Watch out this one was bad next will be as bad maybe worse in BUR they tend to start slow look at Austin and SCA.

BUR is a couple hundred people. I was hired last fall with promises of cloud growth but I'm actively looking for job !
