I hear from a reliable contact in HR that they are prepping severance packages for senior leadership in retail as well as some non-commission positions in all channels. I keep hearing about the mystical 1/27 date. If I keep hearing it there must be some truth to it. Glad I left the company last month. Good luck to you all because you are going to need it.

Why do you want to collect SSNs?
There is no longer a guarantee of severance. The world is collapsing on Lowell and friends. At some point, the folks left behind .... the young, the arrogant, the back-stabbers .... will be let go with no severance.
So hang in there punks while I collect my severance and then SSN. I didn't let the door hit me. And don't forget to turn out the lights.
Was that a smart move to leave the company a month ago when you can stay and get a severance package and then pursue another career
What is senior leadership? Director? Or DM? If they are cutting at that level I would assume there will be fewer locations to manage as well.
Verizon Business/Terremark hosting, collocation, managed services, & cloud all being RIF'ed in next 30 to 90 days. Management informed us of that last week. Big Job cuts coming for sure pending more business unit sales in addition to collocation
