Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

Big difference when the shoe is on your foot

Where were all of you a year ago and even longer when "we" were WFR'd? You could have started a rally with solutions to stop HP. Most of U called "us" liars or poor performers or shiftless workers that needed to be thinned out of the herd. Some of U even defended one of the senior managers who appeared to side with the workers (after his ship started sinking), even though that manager was as guilty as the rest of the management. Where are the "supportive friends" that still work there? The "CYA till it is you" attitude has now come to bite you.

If every HPE and HP "worker" stopped buying every SINGLE HP product and encouraged all family, relatives and friends to do the same, the irreversible avalanche would have stopped a long time ago. But no one cries till it is them and then all the injustices against "U" are cried out.

If your life surrounded everyone at HPE, you had no life. I wouldn't denigrate anyone being WFR'ed from HPE. It happens all the time. You'll do great with a can do attitude and who is "most of U" because I only remember one person on here defending HPE. They were the one that was laughed at, scoffed at and proven to be liars...

@mwy, "Forgive... but never forget..." has been the best phrase I've heard in a loooong time. You got it, bro!

All but 2 ex-peers turned their back on me when I was kicked out two years ago. They didn't even take my calls or replied to my emails. I was so dissapointed and frustrated at the time. Now, two years later none of them still work at HPE. One by one (including my then-boss) were laid off. One of them even called me twice and sent me multiple messages to see if he could use me as a reference once I was well established with my current employer (and yes, on his messages he stated that if I "knew about any opportunity" to contact him immediately - without the magic word... "please")... Life is so crazy some times... Things like these (laid offs) sometimes happen for you to know who is who, and who is worth having by your side. Forgive... but never forget...

Omg you were layed off a year ago, get over it. I've been given the boot due to downsizing and guess what? Life goes on.

Use this as an oppty to find something that's a better fit.
