Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Looks like most of NSN products on hold as well

Seems most of HW product dev is on hold. All meetings cancelled and people are openly gossiping. Management has already announced that the situation is difficult, projects will be reviewed and some will be cancelled.

Oracle cloud is using Cisco switches / routers. Cloud IT rejected the NSN solutions. NSN will have a big impact.

About 90% RIF in NSN.... Could just be a rumor.

Per an email wrongly forwarded all IB projects cancelled. The email came from the top. The Ethernet stuff is on hold. Things are looking bleak for NSN.

If you think your project is safe, your group still have 20%-50% cut

NSN is not cloud but it seems it will take a hit.

It's really the titanic right now. You think everything is good right up until it's too late to make a turn. Then it's just about containment and how to rescue what you can.

Some of the cloud products just s---. Some will need to be scrapped or redesigned. Some will just need more work. Oracle is trying to do too much and it's costing too much money.
