CSC has outsourced or eliminated nearly 60000 jobs over the last 10 years.

Expect at least 30000-40000 HPE layoffs. Probably 10000 CSC people will be set free.

Then your new Supreme Leader -- Mike Lawrie will begin cutting loose any underperforming units and selling them in at a fire sale. That could be good for some of you.

When the dust settles you will no longer receive raises, training or guidance. HR will however force you to go through the motions of evaluations, survey's and ethic's training each year. Once we don't make numbers expect the layoffs to start again.

It will be a slow and painful. Prometheus, chained to a rock in the Caucasus comes to mind.

I would certainly consider leaving now if you have a marketable skill set.

What happens to all of us in ES after this spin-merge if CSC is already downsizing and offshoring their own staff? Will we all be gone before March 31? It doesn't appear there is a spot for most of us in this NewCo.

They apparently let a lot of people go immediately after the merger announcement too.
