Lost two in Engineering today here, thirty day notice, don't tell me there were no RIFs!
RIFs like Verizon's trigger the 'Plant Closing Act' which requires 30 days notice. Notifications are relatively quiet and told to the individual the day before a payday.
There are definitely more RIFs coming.
There are Rif's planned. Denying it wont make it go away.

Wake up people. How would a union troll know about an upcoming RIF? RIFs are usually timed to have affected employees of the payroll at the end of a quarter. Use your brains people, don't take what a vindictive, out of touch, petulant, a--hole posts on this board.

It's the union people posting about the RIF's, since they are lazy and do nothing but sit around and write on this board.. There are no RIF's planned
It would happen on a payday Thursday at least one month prior to off-payroll. Given the impact of the strike on the quarter, any move for further RIFs would be after earnings are announced. My guess is that the next one will likely be around November again.
This is just a fake date. Revenge for all the fake lock out dates. This site has become useless.
I have not heard of anything yet either.
A couple of weeks ago, my directory said no RIFFs planned.
