Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Lowell Mac jackass needs to go! Verizon needs a lead with vision for the future of Verizon.

Lowell is the problem here, and in the contract stipulate of his removal; should include that mcadams has no influence either directly or indirectly from any other objective position including committees or board position. He has wasted more money and created a hostile workforce and damaged the Verizon Brand name to an Anti-American chant. Lowell Mac jack asscant even orchestrate a decent labor contract after showing a 1.8 BILLION dollar profit last MONTH. He must be the laughing stock of CEO's, snickered and snookered about the board rooms... The only way to save the Verizon Brand is to relieve Lowell Macadams of his position

LOL. Wireline contributes 7% of overall revenue but is demanding that the CEO needs to go. I think it's Wireline that needs to go.

first line Management hates that upper management too. The first lines and the managers know there is no way out and most of them do not have a formal college education either. this company has gone down hill ever since Lowell macadam got in. He should be fired no reason to keep him.

It's almost like Lowell is trying to make Verizon into the next Apple Inc. with Telecomm attached to failed assets that well past their shelf life. Seems a bit clueless to me

Macadams is a waste, this organization was fine before the GTE merger. why doesnt he sell the wireline if he and his a--hole underlings dont like us... We will sell you fiber if you want... We the employees see exactly what is going on, although you would like to blame it on Union labor, but that isnt working... its not the 70's and the people know what verizon is doing. Oh it takes time and soon enough the masses will be letting you know about it thru sales...

They voted him back in but, it was by no means a ringing endorsement. I mean AOL, Yahoo, go90, hum? Really! I'll bet Sprint, T-Mobile, AT&T CEO's are going "WTF is Lowell smoking?"

Lowell is a good leader for the business who recognizes that he needs to position the company to be viable and competitive for the long-term. The real problems is the Union's and their backward vision, not realizing that their part of the business is shrinking and that they don' t have the same hand of cards to play.

The problem is 3 weeks ago he was reelected by over 95 percent of the shareholders. So that's out of the question. Also he was in the US navy for 6 years so he's really not anti American. He's just anti fat slob union people who make 85000 in salary, have no college or skills and are basically slackers.
