working ewa in netops and had my first encounter today with the contractors they've brought in to work as outside techs...these guys were creepily arrogant and showed zero respect for the ewa's or our facilities...after they left the office there was trash strewn all over the place (so much for neat and clean)...the company needs to think long and hard about the effect these carpetbaggers (pretty much what they are) will have on the customer, the morale of existing employees and our assets...send these guys back where they came from

i've met them too...verizon is doing itself a disservice hiring these people...threw their food garbage in a scrap wire bin in the office...empty soda can, just threw it on the floor...if that's how they treat our offices, imagine how they treat the customers

I got fired from my last two jobs but I like this one. I just tell customers I work for Verizon in Florida and they moved me up.
Obviously they don't care - you should see what we observe out in the field when we follow the outside scabs - most are literally the lowest forms of life they could scrape up - and so many of them are having direct contact with the customers. That's not even mentioning the aggregious safety violations we see one after the other- these hillbilly lowlifes , most of them toothless stinking drunks, like the one with the 4 dwi's that ran down the cop and the picketer. This is Verizon.
Boy the wife is gonna be happy when I get home. We are putting a deposit down on a bran new double wide,gotta go beer getin warm
25 yr tech here, when we go back, and we will, its gonna be a totally different mindset. It's going to be a war every day. The company has ruined everyone, even the b ow jobs who would run for the managers. Gonna be fun.

Those are the people the company has decided that best represent the brand. Why pay union wages when these guys will do it for 1/2 pay. Great idea. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
