Both management and union being hurt by this stupidity neither are talking ,in the long run no one wins ,not the workers never make up what we lost ,not the management abused and beaten,and as for Verizon you will lose customers and money your name will no longer be worth anything meanwhile competition will eat up your customer base .Verizon should be in every home in all media's by the time this is done you may have wireless left and your name recognition for this media is pretty poor so how long do you think that will make shareholders happy ,my opinion is that by the end of this the union will be done and Verizon will be not far behind two lions fighting one ends up dead the other dying .

Agreed…nobody is winning in this except for the union heads and the VZ execs… The union should be picketing their bosses to get some answers and solutions…right now, they are getting nothing but more time without pay or insurance, etc.
@HmBpQGK-oct, what's your assignment?. I haven't heard anything like that from field. FIOS techs have hoped to get contractors so that they can go home but they are not going home even with contractors.
It is beginning of the end, contracting companies is the way to go from al, point of views, the union is looking more like Obama Care, created for a good purpose, destroyed by greed and corruption at the expense of their members.
Wow. Now Lowell outsourcing the jobs of the people who are doing his bidding. Verizon has no loyalty to anyone. Lowell probably outsource himself so he can say Verizon is 100% outsourced. I Was told by my director that an outside managing company was coming in to start doing my work and should expect to answer any questions if needed. I'm on EWA and was expected to go back to my office next week. I was told to keep my office unlocked for someone else to use starting next week. My EWA is extended on a week by week basis.
Anyone else get this ?
