Actually, my wife is staying here with me. She loves shopping and laying by the pool during the day, then we have a very nice dinner each night (company paid of course), then get to enjoy our marital fun a tight. So you see, just because you're some small di(ked, minute-man knuckle-dragger who can't keep his wife satisfied (or give her healthcare and a paycheck either), I have no trouble keeping mine that way. So go on, walk your little circles on the picket line as you and your family slowly go bankrupt, and quit worrying about the EWA staff. Trust me, you already have plenty to worry your little brain about.
Mine are doing good. They are meeting me in the city for brunch and some shopping. Easy money made these last 3 weeks. One check was close to 11k. Nice Right. I hope u f---s never come back. Taking 800 calls is a breeze. Esp when your getting over 150 per hour. Suckers!!!!!! Stay out please till Aug. then for xmass my kid will get a new BMW and your will get a new cardboard box. Thanks your union leaders for this. While your getting fuxked over with your 200 a week and not healthcare, your leaders are living it up at your own expense. But what do i give a sh--. I'll make a years salary in 5 months.

@myg "observing moratariums" What is that? if you meant to say observing moratoriums, that sound's like your done back home. but again i never heard of moratariums, so i don't even no what that is. Anyway what ever it is, who can miss months at their job, and still say they're needed when they get back? I think you have to look at the facts here, You have proven to be redundant. That equals RIF. So continue to be not a useful person back home, and earn that money you are going to need it.
@hbx not how it works at all. Most teams are observing moratariums aka just pure maintenance and no development. Keep guessing though
Do EWAers realize that they have proven that Verizon and the families can get along just fine without them. Especially Verizon, I have heard a lot of the replacement staff are done when they get back (if they get back) home. Each day your here, you prove that you really not needed there.
My weekend isn't going that great because I"m working, but I'm ok with it because the check I received on Friday was well over five digits.
I'd rather be home relaxing but not if meant being unemployed and having no health insurance. There is plenty of time for relaxing when the replacement workers are in place.

What kind of low class wives and girlfriends do you union members have that screw around on you the minute you're out of sight? Is it your position that you shouldn't go to work because there's a chance that your wife/girlfriend might cheat on you? It's this kind of paranoia and insecurity that keeps you locked in the mentality that someone else is in control of your well-being.
I don't really understand why the union people care so much that they keep asking questions like this. I mean, don't you folks have anything better to do with all your free time?
Yes I understand that you're all a little bitter and misery loves company so you're all hoping the EWAers are miserable. But since the question has been asked 100 times on here I'm pretty sure it's obvious that some are miserable, some aren't, some are loving the additional money, some just want to go home. I'm not sure what you're looking for when you ask about it because you've already gotten just about every response in the book.
Seriously, since you folks have a lot of extra free time right now go enjoy it instead of hoping to hear stories about the EWAers being miserable. You'll be much happier because I'm afraid the EWAers are not miserable enough to satisfy you and even if they were it still doesn't change anything or make your paycheck magically reappear.
Instead of worrying about the EWAers, you might want to worry about the union leadership who doesn't seems to have done much beyond lifting a finger for you to get back to work.

Agree on the pawns comment. Too bad the strikers don't get it and treat us EWAs like crap. If they were normal people I'd be a lot more sympathetic to their position but since they're coming after us I'm all for destroying their lives.
I am working 12 hour shifts, but i go home every nite and have Sundays off for church and family. I'm sorry your only tactic is to attack our wives, girlfriends, and families. Mine is going great. I have today and tomorrow off and we are buying a new BMW 550i this afternoon with the additional money I've earned.
I'll be glad when the strike is over and I'm back to normalcy, but can honestly say I've enjoyed doing something different and being paid big bucks to do it.
