The dial in number is a secret. That makes the members feel like they're getting inside information when all they're really getting is a union interpretation of the Reed email from Friday.
A new offer was proposed and rejected. Another week gone with thousands of $$ in salary lost.

Not to mention their pension loss in 2006. Some of them tried to come back to craft but.... NOPE! I'd be mad too. If they don't get RIFed, whatever they make extra during the strike is coming out of their year end bonus.

This site cracks me up!!!! You can just see all of the whining, seething oozing anger from all of the former and current VZ managers here who have have hidden under their desks ( or been under the desk of their superior) afraid of their jobs and cowering in their cubicles because that haven't the slightest courage to do or say anything that might jeopardize their jobs. I'll get through the strike and when it's over, I'll retire with my 30 years and be happy to move to my house in Maine- most of the management clowns I know who VZ used, abused and cut loose ( wait till the RIFS post-strike) just bounce from crap job to crap job after they're used and spit out. They're looking at working till the day they die. Good luck with that!!
