Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

The union doesn't have your best interests in mind at all...

Time to cross back before it's too late.... The union bosses are not losing any sleep over you, your families or your well being. They are in it to make sure they continue to get their dues, that their "union" can prosper. With all the union dues that you have paid, have you guys seen any of that money come back to you yet? Probably not, since they are using it all to buy big blow up rats. Once this is over, you can probably strap that big rat to your boat or motorcycle, let all your neighbors know that you truly fought the good fight.

@hbj, what a gentlemen you are. A true scholar to post something so vulgar and hateful. You're a misogynist. Go ahead, take the time to look the word up. I'm sure you'll need it. I should "cross my legs?" Perhaps I should take a long bath and throw a plugged in blow dryer in the tub? Nice Union workers fighting the fight. NOT! You are lucky to have a job. You've chosen to leave it. And to those of you have posted that I'm worried about my own job bc the Union might F it up for me? Let me let you in on a little surprise folks. The Union just screwed my kid. Thank you so much! You see, I have three very small children, one with a heart condition who no longer has health insurance. Thanks a million.I'm sure I'll be wishing I'd "crossed my legs" when he dies because of you ignorant bastards. Perhaps then I should take a long bath and throw an electrical appliance in. I wouldn't do that though because I have two other children who need me to see them through the loss of a sibling, the loss of their home and and to help them understand why their father put the union before them.

Did you ever think that some posts can be coming from people who know if this goes on anymore and if they lose their job, they can't afford their homes anymore? Don't you think parents are worried that their children no longer have health insurance? You're not winning because you see posts telling people to cross the picket lines. I know that's what you need to believe right now but families and children of union workers on strike are being negatively affected because of this and unless you have another job lined up, this is a very scary time.

The only crossing that needs to happen is YOUR LEGS because everyone can see up your skirt. The view shows clearly that you are a woman of some excess. Wear undies next time please, unless you want the other EWA holding your ladder to lose their lunch.

Here we go again with the Time to Cross B.S. Why do they care so much about us Crossing?????

Because they are literately collapsing without us..That's a Fact.

They would not keep posting. "Time To Cross" post's, if they were doing fine. Sound right?

You're right. The Union does not have the strikers best interests in mind. I don't understand how the union people who are still on strike can look their families in the face ever again once they lose their jobs. I've read a lot of responses from some of the strikers and they're filled with foul language and in some cases, threats of violence. There are also so many responses of the person who will replace me, will see that they're replaceable too. That doesn't make any sense. The union has its members voluntarily giving up their jobs. The Union has lost. If employees really wanted to go back to work they could all have their jobs today. They could keep their homes and their kids could have health insurance again. If employees are truly worried about job security, why are they in essence, quitting their jobs?

@fkv. Well stated! Your right it's us employees who get fu@ked with no lube. Us and the EWA people are in the same boat. Both us getting dicked over by someone who don't care. I'm union strong but I know when I'm getting bent over and it broke off in me.

Op, please explain to me how the union doesn't have its memberships best interests in mind? And don't throw back "they're still getting paid" bullshit. You do realize that the union membership voted to authorize a strike, right? So please, with facts not your opinion, enlighten us.

OP, thank you for that steaming pile of sh-- you wrote. Clearly you are worried about your own miserable job and how the Union might F it up for you. If the strike continues, you might be exposed for the fraud you are....just a living corpse doing nothing in a pointless but forgotten task, every day hoping that the bean counters don't discover you've been suckling at the company's hind teat well beyond any value in what you do. Let me guess, you count 1A2 handsets? Monitor the inventory of Leich 40/80 boards? A supervisor of long-gone pay-phone coin collectors.

Before you post again, take a long soak in a hot tub...go ahead and drop a running blow dryer in that tub while youre at it

Verizon and the union leadership are exactly alike. Both are greedy and self-serving. The ones taking it straight up their a$$ are the employees on both sides. Union is only in it for the union dues and they have no trouble letting their members go bankrupt. Company only sees dollar signs and every employee is disposable. Union, you think you're winning? Think again. No one outside of NY and NJ give a rats a$$ about your strike. And EWA folks, the company will work you like a packmule then cut you loose. Verizon will win this fight, but it's the employees on both sides that will pay the price.

Scabs, temps and management that think they still have a future with Verizon better think again. Last time I heard they are trying to ditch wireline to invest into stupid non profitable crap at your expense. I don't see you having much of a future left either, canonfodder.
