Recorded, 4 EWA spent 6 hrs at cust hs just to lay 50ft temp cut while mowing. Service restored after 3 onts replaced and all 8 customers disconnected . I say 4 weeks total and FiOS will be total darkness.

If Verizon really believed the juice was worth the squeeze they would pay and if they don't it's there right as a free economy to choose not too. As its your chooice to work for another company under a wage you negotiate. No matter if its right or wrong. If it works or doesn't. It's free choice and facts don't care about your feelings. So instead of labeling and name calling why not say something of substance.
It's not rocket science! Yes the field work is hard work, demanding, but in no way, shape, or form does the pay and benefits match the market. And yes, to connect one fiber wire to the drop and to the ONT doesn't take that long, just depends on the length.

Hell I laid a temp and was gone, all SVC working in 30 mins. Did and end to end triple play in 1.5 hours. Not all EWAers were created equal.
It's a flat out beat down by CWA/IBEW Unions. Undeniable at this point. Verizon is getting it's a$$ kicked.
And Verizon has no choice, they have no other options.
